The men's team will race in the Men's Gold 8K race at 11 a.m. Friday while the women's team will compete in the Women's Brown 6K race at 1 p.m.

The men's team will face over 40 schools including Division I programs such as Richmond, North Carolina, Princeton, Utah State, Villanova, William & Mary and Yale.
The women's team will see over 42 programs in the brown race including the likes of VCU, South Carolina, Penn State, Towson, Holy Cross and Hofstra.
Two weeks ago, the VMI men placed first at the Winthrop Invitational with 48 points including a first-place individual finish by senior Gavin Jenkins with an 8K time of 25:49.77. Trent Whittaker came in ninth overall in 27:14.00 and Andre Jordan arrived in 11th in 27:14.57.
The VMI women placed third overall at Winthrop with 106 points led by freshman Gretal Shank's 5K time of 20:04.10. Sophomore Naomi Hahn came in 17th overall in 20:38.59 and was followed by Emily Wells' 22nd-place time of 20:53.70.
