Typically held in May, the 2020 Kentucky Derby finally runs this weekend after a lengthy delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Tiz the Law is the early betting favorite to win the 146th running after taking the Belmont back in June, though his only career loss also came at Churchill Downs last year. Honor A.P., Authentic, Thousand Winds, and Ny Traffic round out the Top-5 betting favorites on Saturday.
“[Tiz the Law] looks like he’s almost invincible going into the Kentucky Derby,” retired jockey Jerry Bailey said, according to the Wall Street Journal. “He has no tactical weaknesses.”
Coverage starts at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC and the post time is set for 7:01 p.m. The Kentucky Derby is also available to stream on FuboTV, Hulu + Live, and Sling.
